I saw this news the other day Dane. Within the next few years we'll be able to find Earth-sized and sub-earth sized planets, but Alex has a point. Unless we dump shitloads of money into either building gargantuan space-based telescopes that could actually resolve other planets, or build Orion-like nuclear pulse ships that could reach another star in a reasonable amount of time, then we're getting close to tapping out how much we can know about them.
